( VERSE 1) Self-actualizing with you on a walk down a pier, most euphoric I've ever been. Not too shabby as we live through a strife-stricken period during the Anthropocene. You toss around abstract concepts and ideas and worry that you bore, but it just so happens that it hits me at my very core. Her vision of terraformed Galilean moons, oh please, oh please, happen soon. X2 (Chorus) The girl from Ganymede. A millennium shy, but you really ought to see the Falcon on her thigh. The girl from Ganymede. Rocking a cheeky spacey bop to the profound sounds of Bowie and Bebop. Ganymede. Oh, I love you so, But I'm worried about telling you as you might go. The girl from Ganymede. A real oddity. I'm Bewildered by your luscious intellectual property. (VERSE 2) In your freshwater harvesting vessel, no time or desire to brood. The icy shell and dark subterranean ocean always got you into the mood. You quench the thirst of a couple hundred thousand colonists. You barely even break a sweat. And douse the flames of hope for this one pessimist, but oh. You need not fret. Her vision of terraformed Galilean moons, Oh please, Oh please happen soon X2 (Verse 3) And I just might be that boy from Io, Devoid of all charm, wit, and brio. Mining underground with a heart torn asunder, revel in all the radiation and sulfur. See you three times a week on every orbital conjunction. Io always welcomes you with an eruption. But the notion of you and I was always a fallacy, change the genre to unobtainable fantasy. Ain't no denying that I spark some intrigue, but deep down you know that I'm out of your league. Oh, to find out from the one that you love, that you are never ever going to be enough. X3

(VERSE 1) Some say that you and I were born of chaos, Aligned towards order by a loving God, they tell us. While others believe it was abiogenesis, A disagreement followed by the birth of a nemesis. And as my time runs out and I start to go under, I do begin to wonder. (CHORUS) Will we ever penetrate the great filter of self-destruction? Violence amongst ourselves never really needed any introduction. Spinning on a rock in space, all the pain and misery we brace. A species in transition, gaze upon the human condition. (VERSE 2) Some live lives of absolute bliss and pleasure, Some walked the moon. Some even crossed oceans for good measure. While others find peace and happiness to be so alien, A short life, spent in the dirt, ended by a bullet to the cranium. And as I start slipping off into the abyss, I notice something's amiss. (CHORUS) Will we ever penetrate the great filter of self-destruction? Violence amongst ourselves never really needed any introduction. Spinning on a rock in space, all the pain and misery we brace. A species in transition, gaze upon the human condition. (VERSE 3) Oh, to find yourself at the peak of your prime. Burning with desire for change within your lifetime. Will we ever penetrate the great filter of self-destruction. Please tell me, will you liberate the human condition.

(Verse 1) Greetings from beloved Terra, home of the human race. We've entered into our golden era. We've taken into space. I am a human, and I come in peace— it's a pleasure to meet your kind. My galactic sibling, at the very least. Share your culture and wine. Then I get an order telling me to murder. (CHORUS 1) Kill all Xenos. Projectiles fly, bodies drop dead, dead. Kill all Xenos. From every hole, their bodies bled, bled. Kill all Xenos. But in no way were they ever hostile. Kill all Xenos. I think that one might have been a child. Kill all Xenos. As they killed, they cheered and smiled. Kill all Xenos. Resist dehumanizing even as the bodies piled. Kill all Xenos. For our species, this isn't a crime. Kill all Xenos. In a universe with finite resources and time. Kill all Xenos. A weak solitary path was not what I had in mind. Kill all Xenos. How I wish we're more kind and benign. (Verse 2) Be wary of mighty Terra, Throne of the human race. We've entered into our genocidal era. We've taken over space. I am a human, and I bring your doom— It's a pity for your kind. For you and yours, there just no room. Delete your bodies and minds. Then I get an order to commence the slaughter. (CHORUS 2) Kill all Xenos. (Verse 3) As all sentient life in the galaxy band together to withstand the Human menace. I wonder what would have been if we were different when they first met us. In another timeline or reality, we might have been saviors and friends. But we only brought death and calamity. It is far too late to make amends.

(Verse 1) She came straight out of Africa. Met her on the dunes of the Levant. To my Neanderthal anima, her shapely form and sophistication did enchant. Entwined with a sultry homo sapien, as we chill through the Pleistocene. But I won't be there to see it end. So will you still love me into the Holocene? (Chorus 1) And my fears erode, my love—cause I'm now in your genetic code, my immigrant lover. Might have been your kind, my love. Who brought about my decline, my immigrant lover. I may be extinct, my love. But I live on through our link, my immigrant lover. I don't fear the void, my love. Cause our fates are now conjoined, my immigrant lover. (Verse 2) He came straight out of planet Earth, Met him in a bar on a Jovian moon. The songs and stories that I heard made my colonial life appear to be so out of tune. Entwined with a charming Terran man, as I get the first taste of my beloved homeworld. Of off-world living? He's a fan, and I relished as all his space-age daydreams unfurled. (Chorus 2) I've never been home, my love—only lived on orbits and in domes, my immigrant lover. But your music and poems, my love. Made me feel the oceans and loam, my immigrant lover. As our kind expands, my love. Into the unknown holding hands, my immigrant lover. In a ship with you, my love. Let's find a world that's green and blue, my immigrant lover. (Verse 3) It came straight out of Trappist 1. We met out in interstellar space. It's transmission I did not shun, and for the first time ever, our species embrace. Although we harbored some reluctance, all notions of fear and suspicion died as contact was made. Speech and language became redundant as through some mental medium, our truest feelings we conveyed. (Chorus 3) It felt forbidden, my love. But we were both clearly smitten, my immigrant lover. Will this even work, my love. As our differences will always lurk, my immigrant lover. How will you be perceived, my love. Inspire hate or be well-received, my immigrant lover. The storms we weather, my love. We'll brace them all together, my immigrant lover.
